Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and how to get it removed.
Who we are
AutoBlogJet LLC operates autoblogjet.com and the AutoBlogJet application. Our registered address is AutoBlogJet LLC, 1 Sansome Street, Suite 3500, San Francisco, CA 94104, United States. We act as the data controller for account information and as a processor for the content you create in the product.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password hash, company name and plan.
- Content data: briefs, keywords, generated documents and publishing settings you create.
- Connection data: encrypted credentials for the sites you connect, used only to publish on your instruction.
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, error events and approximate location derived from IP address.
- Billing data: handled by our payment processor. We store the plan, invoice history and last four digits of a card, never full card numbers.
How we use it
We use your information to provide the service, authenticate you, apply plan limits, publish content when you ask us to, respond to support requests, send service notices, and improve reliability and performance.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your content to train machine learning models, and we do not share it with other customers.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on contract performance for providing the service, legitimate interests for security and product improvement, consent for optional analytics and marketing email, and legal obligation for tax and accounting records.
Sub-processors
We use a small number of vendors to run the service: cloud hosting, transactional email, payment processing, error monitoring and language model providers used to generate drafts. A current list with locations is available on request from hello@autoblogjet.com, and we give notice before adding a sub-processor that handles customer content.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. After cancellation, documents remain available for export for 30 days and are then deleted. Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Backups are rotated on a 35-day cycle.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Write to us and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to staff who need it, protected by multi-factor authentication and reviewed regularly. Connection credentials are stored encrypted and can be revoked from your CMS at any time.
International transfers
Our infrastructure and vendors may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Children
The service is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we make a material change to this policy, we will email account holders and update the date at the top of this page before the change takes effect.
